Backpack Upgrades
You can upgrade your backpack at the General Store.

Farm Expansion Notice Board
There’s a notice board in the middle of town, and by fulfilling its requests, you’ll unlock upgrades for your farm. You fulfil these requests by simply donating the required items to the consignment board on your farm.
Wild Food Collection
Complete this collection to unlock the Farm Expansion, which makes your farm twice the size. You can find all of these items on the ground, half during the dry season and the other half during the wet season.

Soil Upgrades
You can upgrade the level of your soil by adding Heartslime, which you’ll acquire when your Planimals are killed in battle. You’ll find a signpost southwest of your house, which has a heart icon painted on it. You’ll interact with this signpost to trade in your heartlessly acquired Heartslime.
Note that the soil level determines the level that your Planimals will be born at. Level 2 soil will produce level 2 Planimals, level 3 soil will produce level 3 Planimals, and so on.
Note that each upgrade listed below requires additional Heartslime. So upgrading from level 1 to level 3 will require 6 Heartslime (2+4).
